Independent site

Retirement Limits is a private publication. It is not run, endorsed or paid for by the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor, any other government agency, a retirement plan, a broker or a financial adviser.

General information, not advice

The pages describe federal rules and the calculators apply them to the figures you type. Nothing here is personal financial, tax, legal or investment advice, or a recommendation to contribute, to buy or sell a security, or to take a distribution. Your plan document and your tax return decide what applies to you; a plan administrator or a tax professional can confirm it.

Liability

Rules and rates are read on official texts and the calculators are tested before each release, but rules change and errors cannot be excluded. The publisher is not liable for a decision taken on the basis of the site alone. Errors can be reported through the contact page.

Intellectual property

Texts, design and code belong to the publisher; short quotations with a link are welcome. Federal government texts quoted here are in the public domain.

Embedding

The limits calculator may be embedded for free with its credit line visible: see the embed page.

Personal data and cookies

What you type in the calculators stays in your browser. The site sets Google Analytics audience measurement cookies (_ga, _ga_FR0D640P12, 13 months at most), with no advertising; page stability is monitored with Microsoft Clarity, cookie-free. Details, legal basis and how to object: privacy policy and cookies page.

Reporting unlawful content

Write to contact@retirementlimits.com with the page address.

Governing law

French law applies; failing an amicable settlement, the courts of France have jurisdiction. Updated: 2026-10-19.

Results apply the 2026 IRS limits to the figures you type. Your plan document, your payroll and your tax return decide what you can actually contribute or must withdraw; a plan administrator or tax professional can confirm it. It is general information, not financial advice or tax advice for your situation, and we receive nothing from any plan, broker or adviser.
